Inter-School Creative Writing Competition and AI & Robotics Workshop at Contai Public School

Notice

A special event was organized today by Contai Public School. The program featured an inter-school creative writing competition and an AI & Robotics workshop. A total of 133 students from 14 different schools across Contai participated in the event.

The event began with floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda’s statue and lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the members of the school’s managing committee. Following this, the Principal, Mr. Samarendranath Das, delivered a brief speech, highlighting the objectives of both the competition and the workshop.

First, the students took part in a one-hour creative writing competition held in their respective classrooms. After the competition, they were taken to the school’s state-of-the-art AI & Robotics laboratory, where they were introduced to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. The students engaged in hands-on learning, gaining insights into the functioning of robots and how to give them commands through programming. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This day-long program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Vice Principal, Mr. Parthasakha Patra.
