NOTICE TO THE PARENTS / GUARDIANS FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2014-15

Date : 27.01.2014

01.You are earnestly requested to collect your ward’s Final Report Card on 2nd March 2014 (Nursery to I) & on 9th March 2014 (II to VIII) between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

02. The school will remain closed after the respective classes complete their Final Examinations. However, the school will reopen on 19th March 2014 and the time table for new session will be given on the same day.

03. The Project Works for the Internal Assessment will be done by the students during the school hours w. e. f. the Academic Session 2014-15. Necessary requirements for the project works will be arranged by the school. The parents are to pay for the required stationeries for projects.

04. You are requested to inform the school office if you desire to withdraw your ward from school / hostel latest by 28th February 2014.

05. You are also requested to inform the Transport Manager if you want to discontinue the transport facility for your ward latest by 28th February 2014.

06. We solicit your active co-operation to maintain the SCHOOL UNIFORM CODE from the new session. All the students should have at least one pair of full sleeve shirt and long pant. They should also have winter dresses and house dresses with proper length and good condition. Girl students of Class V onwards should come to school with loose fitting shirt, knee length skirt, knee length socks and black hairband. They should also have sweater with buttons ( open chest ) as the part of winter uniform. Boys of Class V onwards should wear long pant and long tie from the new session. A HANDKERCHIEF IS MUST FOR EVERY STUDENT. A blazer will be provided from Class VII onwards as part of the School Uniform.

07. Presence of parents / guardians / outsiders during the Assembly (10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.) is strictly prohibited.

08. Use of ornaments /stones, etc. are not allowed in the school. Only simple ear rings are allowed for girl students. Simple and low priced wrist watch is allowed from Class IX onwards.
09. This is to be mentioned that the School Authority discourages Private Tuition. Hence, the parents are requested to discuss with me regarding this matter in case of urgent necessity.

10. The school authority will take very strict decision against the students who will bring mobile, pen drive, microcheap, CD, electronic goods, etc to the school. Please make it sure that your wards are not using mobile even at home.

11. Students will not be allowed to leave the school premises before the ending of usual school hours. Hence, parents are suggested not to request for the same.

12. No written examinations can be conducted on alternative day. The school authority suggests you kindly not to request for the alternative dates of examination. The performance of the students will be evaluated on the basis of previous examination results.

13. The parents of pre-primary students are requested to provide a pair of casual dress in their bag.

14. The school will conduct parent teacher meeting according to the schedule mentioned in the Year Planner and we earnestly request you to remain present on those meetings.

15. We request your goodself to make prior appointment to meet the principal or any teacher. Principal meets the parents on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The days and time are subject to change.

16. School days : Monday to Friday and Saturdays marked black in the Year Planner
(Usual classes will not be held for classes Nursery to I, X, XI and XII on Saturdays. Only partici- pants of different competitions are required to come on the days of competitions fall on Saturdays)

19. It is mandatory to duly fill in the “Personal Record” page in your ward’s school diary. You are further requested to write the Registration No. (already mentioned on the old fee book) of your ward on the cover page as well as on each and every page of the fee book.

20. We request you to encourage your wards to submit the articles printed in A4 paper for TTIS/ Telekids /Wall Magazine/Web Magazine. Please take care regarding the originality of the submitted articles. Selection of articles is at the discretion of Editorial Board. This is also for your kind information that from the session 2014-15 onward, the students will be asked to write articles in school hours (schedules will be informed) for the school magazine and the articles will be finally selected by the Editorial Board.

21. Interested parents are requested to contact regarding Karate classes which is held on every Friday after school. Separate fees are to be paid for Karate Classes and transport facilities.

22. School conducts Cricket Coaching under the guidance of an experienced coach from CAB. Interested parents are requested to contact Mr. S. Kar (9735415873) for detail information.

23. Students interested in swimming are hereby informed to contact immediately for the swimming session to begin from April 2014. The enrolement must be done by 20th March 2014.

24. Students interested to participate in different competitions should enlist their names at least seven days before the competitions. (Please see the schedules in the Year Planner.)

25. Written applications are to be submitted latest by 25th March 2014 in case the students desire to change the C. C. A. option. Students who will be promoted to Class II are hereby instructed to inform the classteacher regarding their choice of C. C. A. latest by 20th March 2014.

NOTICE TO THE NEW BOARDERS’ PARENTS / GUARDIANS

Dear Parents / Guardians,
We solicit your kind and benevolent co-operation to abide by the following rules for the smooth running of the Hostel Daily Activities.


01. You have to bring your ward to the hostel on 18th March 2014 at 3:00 p.m.

02. The boarders are to report / arrive according to the schedule mentioned in the year planner / notice to avoid unwanted situation. You are earnestly requested to inform the Hostel Superintendent in case of any inconveniences regarding arrival.

03. We request you to meet your ward only on Sundays between 2:30 p.m. & 5:00 p.m. since visiting on other days causes several inconveniences. Prior intimation / permission is required to meet on other days.

04. Permission from the Principal / Hostel Superintendent has to be obtained to visit the dormitory.

05. Extra food can not be given to any boarder at any circumstances.

06. You are requested to be in constant touch with the concerned subject / class teach- ers regarding your ward’s academic progress.

07. Dresses ( casual / uniform ) & other belongings must be enlisted in the Hostel Register and they must be in good condition.

08. You can phone your ward only on Saturday ( 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. / 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ).

09. All school & hostel dues should be paid on or before 10th of every current month to avoid late fine.

10. Your are earnestly requested not to offer any tips / benefits to any staff of the school in order to maintain discipline in hostel activities. Please bring the matter to the notice of the Principal if any member of the staff insists you for the same. The practice should be restricted even at the time of festivals.

The grand recognition achieved by Shri Prateek Biring, one of our ISC 2013 batch students made us proud & jubilant. Prateek being a born Thalamic struggled against all odds & produced brilliant results both in ICSE & ISC Examinations. His indomitable spirit earned him “The Telegraph School Awards for Excellence 2013” awarded by The Telegraph Education Foundation, Kolkata. He has been honoured with Merit Certificate today (24.08.2013) at Uttam Mancha, Kolkata.

Congratulations ! Congratulations !
We heartily congratulate our ICSE & ISC 2013 students for their outstanding performance. Our best wishes are always with them.
We specially congratulate Judhajit Jana, Arijeet Jana, SangamTirthaSasmal, PriyamBhunia and Akash Murmu for their wonderful achievements in JEE Advance(IIT), NEET(All India Medical), WBJEE (Engineering) & NISER.

In ISC, twelve students out of thirty seven, scored more than 90% marks. Record breaking 97.25% is the school’s highest so far, obtained by Judhajit Jana.
Judhajit Jana, Arpita Ghorai, Sangam Tirtha Sasmal and Soumya Khuntia have obtained 100% marks in Mathematics. Special Congratulations to them for their superb performance ! Kudos to Prateek Biring for obtaining 89% marks in spite of his continuous ailments.
The students of ICSE also performed wonderful results. The highest Marks(93.6%) is scored by Sudipa Bhunia. Seven students obtained more than 90% marks.
