NOTICE TO THE PARENTS/GUARDIANS
i) You are requested to submit the the filled in enclosed form and photocopy of caste certificate, if any, latest by 24.06.2013. Please treat this as very urgent.
ii) Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is introduced in all major subjects from this academic session (2013-14). Details of marks allotment in different fields presented in a tabular form is provided with this notice for your kind information. Distribution of marks in each Terminal Exami- nation is given below :
Class Prep I & II : CCE – 40 marks & Written – 60 marks
Class One : CCE – 40 marks & Written – 60 marks
Class Two to Five : CCE – 30 marks & Written – 70 marks
Class Six onwards : CCE – 20 marks & Written – 80 marks Marks obtained in CCE and Written Examinations will be converted into grades as per the Grade Scale mentioned in the Progress Report Card.
iii) Song & Instrumental Competitions for classes Two onwards will be conducted on 28th June 2013 and experts from Rabindra Bharati University will remain present as judges. Interested students must enrol their names latest by 21st June ’13. Category of songs according to class are mentioned below :
II – IV : : Puja Paryay (Rabindra Sangeet)
V – VII : : Prakriti Paryay (Rabindra Sangeet)
VIII onwards : : Bhajan
iv) School will remain closed on 1st and 2nd July on account of Panchayet Elections. However, usual classes will be held on 29th June 2013 following the time table of Monday(1st July 2013)
v) You are requested to encourage your ward to submit the articles for School Magazine (2013-14) and TTIS.

Recent Achievement

Congratulations to our all students of ICSE 2013 Batch & ISC 2013 Batch for their BRILLIANT performance!
In ISC, twelve students out of thirty seven, scored more than 90% marks. Record breaking 97.25% is the school’s highest so far, obtained by Judhajit Jana.
Judhajit Jana, Arpita Ghorai, Sangam Tirtha Sasmal and Soumya Khuntia have obtained 100% marks in Mathematics. Special Congratulations to them for their superb performance ! Kudos to Prateek Biring for obtaining 89% marks in spite of his continuous ailments.
The students of ICSE also performed wonderful results. The highest Marks(93.6%) is scored by Sudipa Bhunia. Seven students obtained more than 90% marks.
